01 Situation
The CATAL1.5°T initiative aimed to foster economic growth and climate change mitigation by supporting young enterprises. The core challenge was building a strong, skilled digital community of women entrepreneurs in the climate tech sector across four West African countries, ensuring their ideas were viable and user-centred.
My team of 10 facilitators, was responsible for the entire program management, including recruitment, masterclasses, in-person workshops, mentorship, and final reporting, focusing on integrating UX methodologies into climate solutions.
02 Assignment
Create a dynamic community of women entrepreneurs, equipping them with HCD and UX skills to develop effective, technology-based solutions that address climate change challenges.
03 Approach
Delivered the program through a mixed pedagogical approach, combining theory and hands-on application: masterclasses on HCD principles, in-person workshops, and mentorship, with final reporting. The focus was integrating UX methodologies into climate solutions.
