Wokpa was designed as a comprehensive solution for African podcasters to create, monetize, and grow their podcasts. It offers a one-stop-shop of world-class audio tech tools and services, making it an innovation hub that transforms podcasting passion into profit.
02 Assignment
Joseph and the team conducted design research and led workshops for Wokpa, focusing on empowering podcasters across Africa. He worked directly with creators and brands to enhance their podcasts’ impact and profitability, utilizing innovative design solutions to expand their audience reach and revenue generation capabilities.
03 Approach
Joseph initiated his approach with a deep dive into design research, identifying specific needs and challenges faced by podcasters in Africa. Leveraging this insight, he crafted user-centric designs and integrated features aimed at maximizing podcast reach and monetization. Through collaborative workshops, he engaged directly with podcasters, providing hands-on coaching to refine their content creation and marketing strategies. This iterative process ensured the platform’s features were both impactful and aligned with user needs, driving Wokpa’s mission forward.
