01 Situation
The Blue Gold Program (Bangladesh) had a dedicated ‘Innovation Fund’ to explore and promote new innovations. Blue Gold identified Grameen Intel’s E-Agriculture Platform (KRISHE) as a high potential innovative technology that could help improve agricultural practices and create new agri-business and income opportunities for the smallholder farmers in its project areas.
02 Assignment
Conduct a HCD driven feasibility study to explore opportunities and identify strategies for contextualising the agri-services portfolio and service delivery model of ‘KRISHE’ digital platform, in order impact rural farmers in southern Bangladesh.
03 Approach
Proportion Global partnered with Grameen Intel Social Business Pvt. Ltd. dy, and led the HCD process. This started with design research (Contextual observations, Contextual Interviews, Expert Interviews, Focus group Discussions & Insight Generation Workshops), followed by multiple rounds of ideation workshops engaging a large variety of stakeholders within the ecosystem.
