Greater male participation in nutrition choices contributed to stronger family health outcomes and more equitable household dynamics.

SHE SOARS project for out of school adolescents and young women

The process led to the formation of Role Model Girl Groups—peer cohorts of 15–20 young mothers accessing stigma-free ANC, interpersonal therapy, and savings-and-loan activities at nearby facilities. Linked to trained providers and supported by health-system strengthening, the model has been adopted by county governments, demonstrating sustainability and scalable impact.

Feasibility study of AI-powered Medical triage app to improve eye services in Rwanda

Findings confirmed strong potential for improving teaching quality, guideline adherence and frontline triage. Recommendations included offline functionality, multilingual support, mobile-first usability, extended clinical pathways, treatment guidance and enhanced continuous-learning materials—positioning Dem Dx as a valuable tool for Rwanda’s primary eye care ambitions.
